About Northpeak Analytics

Northpeak Analytics is a fast-growing technology company that helps retailers and distributors across Iraq and the Kurdistan Region turn their sales and inventory data into clear, actionable decisions. Our platform is already used by leading brands in Erbil, Baghdad, and Sulaymaniyah, and we're scaling quickly. We're looking for a driven Business Development Manager to help us expand our client base, open new markets, and turn opportunities into long-term revenue.

The Role

As Business Development Manager, you'll own the full sales cycle — from identifying and prospecting new opportunities to negotiating and closing deals. You'll be the engine behind our pipeline growth, building relationships with prospective clients and partners across the region while working closely with marketing, product, and account management to deliver results.

This is a great fit for someone with around 3 years of business development or sales experience who's ready to take ownership of targets and grow with the company.

What You'll Do

Identify, research, and qualify new business opportunities across the retail, distribution, and FMCG sectors in the Kurdistan Region and wider Iraq

Generate leads through outbound prospecting, networking, referrals, and inbound follow-up

Manage the full sales cycle: discovery, pitching, proposals, negotiation, and closing

Build and nurture long-term relationships with prospects, clients, and strategic partners

Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly revenue and pipeline targets

Maintain accurate records and forecasts in HubSpot

Conduct market and competitor research to inform go-to-market strategy

Collaborate with marketing on campaigns and with product/delivery teams on client needs

Represent Northpeak Analytics at industry events, exhibitions, and client meetings across the region

What You'll Bring

~3 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related commercial role

Proven track record of generating leads and meeting or exceeding sales targets

Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills

Fluency in Kurdish and Arabic, with strong working English

Confidence running the full sales cycle and managing multiple opportunities at once

Hands-on experience with CRM tools (HubSpot or similar) and prospecting tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator

Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working to targets

Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience)

Valid driving license and willingness to travel within the region — preferred

Experience selling technology, software, or B2B services — a plus

Nice to Have

Existing network among retailers, distributors, or consumer brands in the Kurdistan Region

Familiarity with consultative or solution-selling approaches

Competitive base salary of $1,200–$1,800 per month, plus performance-based commission
